How this company works
We're not affiliated with any manufacturer, and that shapes how we work. Nobody upstairs is pushing us to sell you a new machine when the old one has years left. If a repair makes sense, we tell you. If it doesn't, we say that too, plainly, and you can decide what you want to do with the information. Because we're independent, we work on every major brand instead of a short approved list. Portland houses being what they are, we spend a lot of time in damp basements and back laundry rooms with bad light. We don't rush. We'd rather find the actual cause than guess twice.

Portland is home base, and we cover five Western states from here. Scheduling depends a little on where you sit. In and around Portland we can usually get out quickly. Farther afield, we group visits by area, so the window we offer may be a day or two out. Call and we'll tell you honestly what's available for your address rather than promising a time we can't keep. - 3The repair itself Once you approve the quote, we do the work and test the appliance before packing up. We'll walk you through what failed and anything worth watching for on a machine of that age.

We come look
A technician shows up in the window we set, pulls the unit out and tests it. Tight basement stairs and low bungalow ceilings are ordinary to us. You'll hear what's wrong before anything gets replaced.

You decide, we repair
We walk you through the fix and what it involves, then wait for your go-ahead. Most common parts are already on the truck. If something has to be ordered, we tell you the plan and follow up.
